The Jeep Compass is a compact SUV that marries the off-road capability that has made Jeep a legendary brand across the world with the traditional comforts of a modern SUV. Performance

The Jeep Compass comes standard with a 2.4-liter MultiAir four-cylinder engine that produces a power output of 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. It's mated to a six-speed manual transmission as part of the standard powertrain, but there is a nine-speed transmission that is available on 4x4 models.

Front-wheel-drive Jeep Compass models have a fuel economy of 22 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. The 4x4 models come in at a very similar 22 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. It comes equipped with the Jeep Active Drive Low four-wheel-drive system, drive settings for snow, sand, mud, and rocky terrain, and a retuned off-road suspension.
	High Altitude: The High Altitude is the highest trim level on the Jeep Compass and is the total package in terms of features. It adds GPS navigation and a Beats sound system, taking it a step above the rest.
